When viewing photos in portrait mode, turning the phone to landscape mode causes the photo to take up only half the width of the screen with a vertical scroll bar in the middle. Really annoying.

If you are like me and were perplexed as to why Apple got rid of the camera roll you wont be disappointed with this app. The app is very similar to the original camera roll in appearance and functionality. Works great. Only thing I would change is that when opening it up it starts at the top of your pictures (oldest) instead of the bottom. That is kind of being nitpicky but I could see if you had thousands of pictures that scrolling all the way to the bottom every time would become rather frustrating. Not a problem for me though. Very happy. Thank you for the quality product.

Glad to have my camera roll back so I can quickly scroll through my photos but Id like to put the most current photos first so I dont have to scroll through them all. Could the order be changed or let the user select their preference?

Restores the missing camera roll bug in IOS 8. Only complaint is that I wish it opened to the bottom (most recent) photos. Otherwise its great.

Sadly each and ever picture from the photostream is in the camera roll. I share the stream with my kids. Still not just pics taken on my camera. I think all hope is lost.

Im glad this app brought back the camera roll after updating to iOS 8. It works great.

I just bought this app and upon launching it, it seemed to work perfectly! Thumbnails of all my old photos that had gone missing due to Apples infuriatingly stupid decision to remove the native camera roll were showing once again. Upon tapping most of the pictures, however, I was shown only a white screen! The pictures didnt show! Moreover, tapping the up arrow to see if I could export or resave them simply crashes the app. Another waste of money and more evidence that the App Store should allow returns within a certain period of time.

This app is totally worthless. It doesnt do the one and only thing it is designed to do... It doesnt show you your camera roll! It shows you every photo in every album on your device. Its no better than the iOS 8 photos app. The only good news is that its beginning to appear that Apple will put the camera roll back in iOS 8.1 so save you money and wait.

The app displays ALL your photos, not just the ones taken with your phone. That would be fine if they were broken down into albums but theyre not. Also it doesnt display properly in landscape mode which is how most of my photos are shot. Five minutes was all I needed with this app before deleting.

Definitely worth $1, especially with the new iOS photo gallery format.

When you open this on Ipad4 the pictures are only half the size and are stuffed into a corner with black and white boxes bordering it. Why would they put this on the market and sell it?

Hoped this would bring my lost photos back since the idiots at Apple decided I didnt need them anymore. Didnt do it, same photos missing.

The They had the right idea, but lacked follow through. What really gets me miffed is that the pictures can on Y be viewed in portrait orientation, even if its a landscape photo! And, whether portrait or landscape if you turn your iPhone or iPad to land scape every picture is chopped almost in half and jammed against the left side of the screen. For 99 cents its better than nothing.

Want a giant wall of pictures? Well, here it is. It is not like the old camera roll. Photo stream still shows up in here. So dont think this app is anything like the old camera roll before Apple took it away (why would anyone think that just from the name of the app? Hah!). Dont rotate your phone or else the photo will scale down and messes up the photo and app pretty bad.

This app is great! And the new Today widget is pretty cool! Definitely recommend if you miss your camera roll from iOS 7!

With the new update I am able to do so many cool effects with my pictures! Rotating my pictures is one of my favorite parts of this app special effects, and the new widget is awesome!

Finally! The Camera Roll is back! I can see ALL of my pictures, not just the most recent, and the features on this app put it over the top!
